"Pacific Breaker"
For those of us lucky enough to frequent the shores of the Pacific Ocean, part of the magic seems to be the endless and always changing ebb and flow of the waves. Having lived there for some years, and forturnate to now return often, I never tire of the sight, the sound, and the smell of the salt air and the waves pounding against the rocks. In this painting I have tried to capture that special moment in time...as a wave breaks, and the sunlight dances on the green Pacific water.
