Rough Pacific
For those of us that have been on the sea when it's begining to kick up, there is a feeling of the wind and water that fills your lungs and your mind. On one of my rougher weather sailing adventures off the coast of Washington State, the experience impressed me in a way that I knew I must try to paint it someday. This painting is an attempt to portray the feelings of the Pacific when the sea is getting rough. Those of you that have been there know the feeling of the sea like this, and the boat pitching under your feet...right?
