Wavelength Moon
This is a commission painting, 24"x30" oil on
canvas. The boat is a beautiful and well-loved C&C 41' that
is moored in Gig Harbor, Washington. The owners wanted their boat
portrayed under full sail heading toward a rising full moon.
Detailed reference photos were taken
of Wavelength, and care taken to represent her accurately and moving
through the sea with her owners on board. What could be more fun
than sailing full out toward a full moon!
